Biographical Notes
Son of Walter Charles and Lilly Riddleston, of Hyde, Cheshire. Pre-war the family lived in Rowhedge and his 3 year old sister, Barbara, who died in May 1924 is buried in Saint Lawrence’s churchyard at Rowhedge, where Wilf is commemorated (see picture above, kindly provided by Ted Sparrow).
