The Dunedin Society is our collective organisation. It is entirely voluntary, free and organised to keep alive the memories of HMS Dunedin and her men. It’s membership is worldwide, ranging from Ireland to Australia, Canada to New Zealand, Bermuda to Malta and all across the UK. Through the Society we have organised several commemorative events covering the annual 24 November ceremonies, the dedication of the permanent Dunedin memorial, the first of our gatherings at Henley in 2001 and the remarkable, extraordinary, reunion with Roy Murray of SS Nishmaha in June 2005.
