Stoker 1st Class Arthur George Bennett (P/KX 103028) was born in Emsworth, Sussex, on September 23rd, 1909, the son of Rose Ethel Bennett. Before enlisting, he was working as a builder’s labourer.
He married Mary Gwendoline Squires in 1929.
