Cyril Candy, Supply Assistant, (PM/X 68958) was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on October 17th 1916, the son of Thomas George Candy, a litho printer, and Emily Candy, née Adams. Cyril was working as a senior clerk in a Local Government Office when the war broke out.
